This Necklace is entirely handmade, with the engraving carefully done by hand.
This ring is designed with a focus on Imam Hussein, the third Imam of the Shia Muslims, who was killed on the day of Ashura by oppressive rulers. This event is considered a tragedy in both Shia and Iranian culture. At the center of the design, the name Hussein is inscribed, serving as the emotional and sorrowful focal point of the piece. This name is positioned at the center of a five-part composition, where the central point symbolizes a pole or axis. The design, in which four quadrilaterals rotate around a central pentagonal square, corresponds to symbols such as the cross, representing the four fundamental aspects of different realms (the four geographical directions, the four elements, and other similar concepts) and their central point.
A famous piece of poetry by Hafez Shirazi, the renowned Iranian poet of the 14th century:
"I fear that tears may reveal the sorrow of our love, and that this hidden secret may become known throughout the world and spoken of by everyone.
It is said that a piece of raw stone ore, through patience and endurance, is transformed into a ruby. Indeed, this is true; but such a transformation comes only after a thousand hardships and the suffering of a heart that has endured much pain."
